Amassing both a mammoth weight and following, with millions of views on TikTok, Kultur was forced to stop streaming due to being bed-ridden with health issues, such as bruising and breathing difficulties.
Kultur last posted on YouTube eight months ago and his TikTok feed featured its last mukbang on Oct. 15, with the streamer announcing in the video that he was eschewing extra salt because he was on a diet.
He appeared to feast on a large plate of canned grape leaves in that video.
Videos since that final mukbang show the 24-year-old completely bed-ridden and undergoing treatment from visiting medical professionals.
In his final post, prior to the death announcement, Kultur shared a photo of himself with caretakers, including his mother, writing, “Family worship,” in the caption. The streamer’s mother died last year, according to the Daily Mail.
Popular Turkish streamer Testo Taylan visited Kultur for an extended conversation just last month. Kultur laid in bed shirtless for the entirety of the interview, his eyes forced closed from the excess weight on his face.

The government of Turkey is taking the high-profile death as an opportunity to warn youngsters about the dangers of mukbang videos, Turkiye Today reported.
Erdogan’s government is currently working on introducing legislation that would limit the use of social media by those under 16 years old, the outlet reported.
