Matt Damon is getting roasted with a little help from his friends.
Ben Affleck couldn’t hold back from teasing his longtime pal, 54, for his shirtless pictures while on set of Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film “The Odyssey.”
Affleck, 52, joked that Damon’s body transformation was “the first time he got in shape in his life” while he appeared on “Today” on Tuesday. The actor was joined by his “The Accountant 2” co-star Jon Bernthal to promote their new action/thriller sequel.
The NBC morning show then shared a side-by-side photo of a shirtless Damon next to Bernthal, 48, wearing a hoodie.
“Jon has taste, class,” Affleck joked. “Matt, soon as the first time he got in shape in his life, whipped his shirt off. He was like, ‘Who can I show this off to?!’ I was like, ‘You wanna just hold back a little?’”
Last week, Affleck also teased Damon during an interview with Access Hollywood.
“You see, this is the face that’s like, they just told him that there were photographers out there so he’s like, ‘I’m flexing my abs, are you watching me? Take my picture!’ ” Affleck said while looking at the photographs.
“I have to say, I have to give him respect,” he added. “As you get on in life, it’s less and less easy to do this, as I can tell you, and he is getting it done.”
Damon was first pictured showing off his rugged look — and long, grey beard — alongside co-star Zendaya, 28, on location in Favignana, Italy in March.
Nolan’s 2026 action feature follows Homer’s ancient Greek poem, “The Odyssey,” and also stars Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong’o and Charlize Theron.
The “Jason Bourne” star is playing protagonist Odysseus and Holland, 28, is portraying his son, Telemachus.
In December, Universal Pictures confirmed the project on X, sharing, “Christopher Nolan’s next film ‘The Odyssey’ is a mythic action epic shot across the world using brand new IMAX film technology.”
“The film brings Homer’s foundational saga to IMAX film screens for the first time and opens in theaters everywhere on July 17, 2026,” the post concluded.
In February, the studio shared a first look, posting an image of Damon wearing armor, a cape and a matching headpiece to Instagram.
“Matt Damon is Odysseus. A film by Christopher Nolan, #TheOdysseyMovie is in theaters July 17, 2026,” the caption read.
Affleck admires Nolan’s work, and would love to travel to Italy to visit Damon — who he won an Oscar with for their 1997 drama “Good Will Hunting.” The pair now run the production company Artists Equity together.
“I may go visit Matt on the set just to watch Nolan direct,” he told GQ last month. “I’m not even kidding at all.”
Affleck also detailed what it’s like for him and his producing partner to take on action roles in their 50s.
“I used to be very gung ho about like, ‘Oh, I’ll do the fights, I’ll do the stunts.’ And now I am very much, ‘At what point is the stunt performer going to come in and do this?’” he shared at the time.
“It’s one of the things I was talking to Matt about — he’s going off to do this Chris Nolan movie and doing a lot of stunt rehearsal, and it was kind of like, Boy, it’s been a while, hasn’t it? Where you really have to go learn the fights — this is Bourne Identity kind of territory.”
