Beverly Hills mansion next to Jeff Bezos’ estate asks $19.8M

A contemporary residence standing at the gateway to Jeff Bezos’s sprawling Warner Estate in Beverly Hills has listed for $19.8 million — offering a rare opportunity to live adjacent to one of the world’s wealthiest people, Mansion Global reports.

The Amazon titan acquired the neighboring 9-acre property for $165 million in 2020.

This new listing, a three-story architectural gem on Angelo Drive, presents a striking contrast to the historic grandeur of Bezos’s Georgian Revival mansion, originally built in 1939 for Hollywood titan Jack Warner.

Spanning approximately 10,000 square feet, the newly listed modern home, completed in 2021, was designed by Gabbay Architects for its current owner, a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon who purchased the land for $4.1 million in 2015, according to Mansion Global.

The residence showcases sophisticated design elements, including a dramatic central staircase that weaves through all three levels, forming a sculptural, eye-like spiral.

A towering black marble fireplace anchors the living space, complemented by herringbone hardwood floors, grayscale marble accents in the kitchen and bathrooms, and expansive windows that flood the interior with natural light.

The property is tailored for both luxury and entertainment, boasting five bedrooms, a home theater, a bar and lounge — plus a 15-car garage.

Outdoors, a pool with floating benches serves as the centerpiece, surrounded by an al-fresco kitchen and a dining area.

A living room with sliding glass doors opens seamlessly to the pool deck, creating an ideal setting for Southern California’s indoor-outdoor lifestyle. Mature olive trees surround the property.

Listed on Friday through Tomer Fridman of Christie’s International Real Estate, the Benedict Canyon property is a bit of a bargain when it comes to living next to Bezos.

By comparison, a vacant lot neighboring Bezos’s estate on Indian Creek Island in Florida is currently priced at $150 million.

The Warner Estate itself, previously owned by music mogul David Geffen, includes a palatial mansion designed by architect Florence Yoch, reflecting its storied Hollywood legacy.
