This Miami penthouse duplex comes with its own private pool in the sky — and its owner is flipping out.
Fashion mogul Daewon “David” Khym, chairman of Wicked Fashions Inc. and founder of clothing brand Southpole, has listed his penthouse at the Jeffrey Soffer-developed Turnberry Ocean Club Residences for $27.5 million.
That’s a whopping $16.5 million more than the $11 million he paid for it in 2021. The reason? Not only is it renovated with high taste, but the residence also comes fully furnished.
The massive aerie, now renovated, is 6,695 square feet and comes with five bedrooms and 7½ bathrooms. But the pièce de résistance is its 4,340 square feet of outdoor terraces tricked out to include a coveted private pool, along with an outdoor kitchen and a hydrotherapy spa.
The home’s interior is equally smashing, with ceilings up to 20 feet high.
Details include a chef’s kitchen, an installation of 45 Lacuna Lighting Collection pendant lights created to mimic cloud formations, Holly Hunt wallpaper, a custom-designed wine bar with ribbed glass sliding doors — and a real moss art wall.
The main bedroom suite comes with a spa-like bath with a $15,000 tub “sculpted from pure clay,” the listing notes.
The 54-story tower also boasts 70,000 square feet of amenities including the three-story private Sky Club with “sunrise and sunset pools,” dining, a wellness spa and entertainment lounges.
The listing brokers are Ruthie and Ethan Assouline of Douglas Elliman.
