Robert Pattinson spiraled over a Zendaya scene — how she reacted

It was a euphoric experience for Robert Pattinson.

The actor, 38, got candid about working with Zendaya, 28, on their upcoming project “The Drama” — and how the “Euphoria” actress stopped him from spiraling.

“We had a scene together that was driving me crazy,” Pattinson told the French publication Premiere, per IndieWire. “I was desperately looking for its meaning, writing pages and pages of textual analysis. I ended up calling Zendaya the night before shooting the scene. I shared my doubts with her, I spoke for two hours, and after a while, very calmly, she made me understand that the line just said what it meant to say, that there was no hidden meaning. And there I was going crazy for three days.”

For now, most details about “The Drama” are being kept under wraps. But, according to Variety, the film centers on Pattinson and Zendaya who play a couple whose relationship takes an unexpected turn before their wedding.

For Pattinson, this isn’t the first time the “Twilight” alum has had a block on set.

He confessed to GQ earlier this month that he almost had “a mental breakdown” over a dance scene with his “Die, My Love” costar Jennifer Lawrence.

“I did this movie with Lynne Ramsay, and she’s a really good dancer. And Jennifer Lawrence is a really good dancer. They just find it so easy,” he explained.

“They’re like, ‘Just dance, it’s just music playing, just dance,’” Pattinson continued. “I was like, ‘I’m going to have a mental breakdown when this happens. We need to either choreograph it or cut it.’ And they’re like, ‘No, just dance, stop being all freak.’”

And when the time came to film the physiological thriller’s dance scene, “The King” alum recalled, “I was sweating so much, the insides of my trousers, with sweat, were wet.”

Well, kind of.

“That’s a little exaggeration,” Pattinson added with a laugh.

“Die, My Love” follows the actor and Lawrence, 34, as a couple whose marriage breaks down after an affair. The star-studded cast also includes Sissy Spacek, Nick Nolte and LaKeith Stanfield.

Pattinson is busy these days, also starring in the sci-fi dark comedy “Mikey 17, and Christopher Nolan’s upcoming “The Odyssey” in 2026.

The British star is also playing Bruce Wayne once more in “The Batman II,” which is slated to premiere in October 2027.

In a recent interview with Hero Magazine, Pattinson teased about the release date, “I started out as young Batman and I’m going to be f–king old Batman by the sequel.. I’m 38, I’m old!”

“I’m old, but I’m healthier. I think I’ve actually brought my biological age down a bit.”
