Christina Ricci is looking to sell her sleek Los Angeles home for $4.17 million, prompted by a family member’s displacement in the Jan. 7 Palisades Fire, The Post has learned.
The “Yellowjackets” actress, who bought the three-bedroom, four-bathroom property in Silver Lake for $4 million in July 2024, is now looking to move into a larger space to house her relative, whose home was destroyed in the devastating blaze.
The move follows Ricci’s recent Hollywood Walk of Fame honor, juxtaposing professional triumph with personal upheaval.
Lorraine Getz of Compass, overseeing the sale, told The Post the decision was swift.
“She’s purchasing a new home to accommodate the family member that lost their home,” Getz said.
Space quickly became an issue in the current residence.
“I think she would have liked more time, but the family member moved in with her,” Getz said. “And I think it was just that a family member really needed a dedicated bedroom.”
Constructed in 2018, the nearly 3,400-square-foot home boasts modern flair, not to mention lovely sights.
“It has a chef’s kitchen, and when you’re in the kitchen, you see views of downtown because it’s two stories, and both stories have walls of glass that open all the way,” Getz said.
The kitchen features a Sub-Zero fridge, Miele appliances (including a built-in coffee machine), and a center island that then flows into the living area, anchored by a fireplace.
With smart-home automation and expansive views of the city, Silver Lake Reservoir, and distant mountains, it’s a standout.
And its cul-de-sac perch offers a rare perk.
“Generally in Los Angeles you either get views or walkability. Not all. This home has both,” Getz said, highlighting a hidden staircase to the Silver Lake Recreation Center and nearby eateries like Bar Siesta.
Ricci added bespoke elements, including “a really beautiful wood credenza with pink marble that she hand-selected and built,” Getz said. “And on the side of this credenza she had cleverly disguised the cat box inside … so the cat litter box doesn’t sit out.”
“She loves her animals,” Getz added.
The property dazzles with a glass catwalk, a gourmet kitchen, walls of glass for optimal city views and a rooftop terrace, plus a pool and spa.
Other features include a floating staircase that leads to the primary suite with its own fireplace, a custom walk-in closet and a spa-inspired bath. A full wall of glass opens completely for more views, the listing notes. Two additional ensuite bedrooms complete the second level.
“It’s a really special home. It’s really beautiful,” Getz said. “And, you know, it’s perched up high, so it gets so much sunlight.”
Ricci married hairstylist Mark Hampton in October 2021. They have a 3-year-old daughter, Cleopatra. Ricci also has a10-year-old son, Freddie, whom she shares with her ex-husband, camera and lighting technician James Heerdegen.
